Organized by the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the umbrella organization of the Bursa business world, the 48th Adding Value to the Economy award ceremony was held with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. At the ceremony, 39 awards found their owners in the categories of Export, Sector Leaders, Income Tax and Corporate Tax. Stating that Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry is the memory of the city with its 134-year-old history, President Erdoğan said, “We supported all kinds of projects that will increase the brand value and activate the economic potential of Bursa, the locomotive city of Turkish industry. Traditionally organized by BTSO, Those Adding Value to the Economy Award Ceremony was held at Merinos Atatürk Culture Congress Center. In the 48th edition of those who add value to the economy, awards in the categories of Export, Sector Leaders, Income Tax and Corporate Tax were presented by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. 30 Billion TL Private Sector Investment
Stating that he is very pleased to be with the representatives of the business world, President Erdoğan thanked BTSO President İbrahim Burkay and the board of directors for enabling the meeting on the occasion of the program. Congratulating each of the companies to which they presented their awards in 4 different categories, and thanking them for their contributions to the country, the nation and the economy, President Erdoğan wished that the public investments of 12 billion liras in total and 30 billion liras of private sector investments, which they officially opened, would be beneficial to the city. President Erdoğan congratulated the ministries, private sector, municipalities and all institutions that brought the works to the city.

For this purpose, we have visited Bursa 3 times in the last year alone. Burkay, who stated that 4 factories opened in the region where the establishment infrastructure was completed in a short time like 6 years, by signing a first in Turkey, started production and said, “We also produce electrical energy with the solar panels on the roofs of our factories in TEKNOSAB, where we will benefit from renewable energy sources at the highest level. In the event that YEKA lands are allocated to our energy company, of which all our organized industrial zones are partners, we also have the investment power to meet a significant part of the energy needed by Bursa's industry from renewable resources.

President İbrahim Burkay said that, despite its 10% share in Bursa's 800 square kilometers, the industry, which provides a high level of added value to the city's economy, such as 8 percent, is supported with new investment areas suitable for scale economy and which will allow for capacity increase, making the Turkish Century a much brighter one. stressed that he will carry it into the future. Oyak Renault in the Export category, Şükrü Karagül in Income Tax, and Özdilek Shopping Centers in the Corporate Tax category and Sector Leader were received from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the 48th Annual Award Ceremony for Adding Value to the Economy.
The companies that won awards in the export category at the night were Oyak Renault, Tofaş, Bosch, Aunde Teknik, Borçelik, Döktaş Dökümcülük, Karsan, Sönmez Çimento and Durmazlar Machine; Bursagaz, Contitech Lastik, Göliplik Şeremet, Polyteks, Pro Yem, Rollmech Automotive, Rudolf Duraner, Atila Efe, Hikmet Oral, Mehmet Celal Gökçen, Sabahattin Gazioğlu and Şükrü Karagül were awarded in Corporate and Income Tax.
