This time, Aviation Engine Materials were discussed at the Technology Sharing Days organized by the Presidency of Defense Industries to raise awareness about R&D studies and to use the technologies more efficiently.
A Technology Sharing Day was held on Aviation Engine Materials, which is one of the areas where important R&D studies have been carried out recently by the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB).
More than 150 representatives from institutions and organizations with experience and knowledge in the field of aviation engines, Turkish Armed Forces, universities and research institutions, defense industry companies, and relevant SSB Departments/Groups attended the meeting held at the SSB Nuri Demirağ Conference Hall.
On the sharing day, the R&D and Technology Management Department and TEI-TUSAŞ Motor Sanayii A.Ş. It started with presentations and continued in three separate sessions classified according to their technologies: Casting and Forging Technologies, Additive Manufacturing and Alloy Technologies. The program ended after the evaluations made at the end of the day.
