The construction of the 'Municipal Bath', which is being built by Samsun Metropolitan Municipality in Ilkadım, is rapidly increasing. President Mustafa Demir, who said that 35 percent of the bath, which will include a swimming pool, sauna, steam rooms and massage rooms, is finished, said that the historical bath will serve in accordance with its former function.
Full of historical and cultural riches, Samsun is walking towards the future with the tourism investments of the Metropolitan Municipality. Aiming to make Samsun a center of health, culture, history and tourism, the Metropolitan Municipality is rebuilding the old municipal bath in the district of Ilkadım.

1242 percent of the construction works of the bath, which will be on an area of 35 square meters and will include a swimming pool, sauna, steam rooms and massage rooms, have been completed. The concrete of some of the columns and curtains on the ground floor of the bath, which will also have a parking lot in the basement, was poured. It is stated that the Turkish bath, which is under construction, will be put into service in June.
HISTORICAL TEXTURE WILL BE PRESERVED
Stating that when the municipal bath and pool are put into service, the region will have a more beautiful appearance in line with its historical structure, Metropolitan Mayor Mustafa Demir said, “35 percent of the construction works have been completed. This place served as a bath for years. From now on, it will serve as a bath again by preserving its more modern and historical texture.”
