The company, which has implemented many projects on energy efficiency in 2022, as in previous years, continued to take important steps in the field of green energy.

Hoşdere Bus Factory reached the lowest specific energy value in 2022

Mercedes-Benz Türk, which also works to improve the energy efficiency projects it has implemented at Hoşdere Bus Factory, achieved energy savings of over 2022 percent per vehicle in 2007 at Hoşdere Bus Factory compared to 41.

The company, which established the solar power plant at the Hoşdere Bus Factory in 2019, has prevented 261 tons of CO2022 emissions since the establishment of the power plant, and 82 tons of CO2 emissions only in 2022. The factory reached the lowest value in XNUMX in specific energy consumption with the applications put into use.

Mercedes-Benz Türk, which added approximately 2022 frequency converters to the air handling units of the Hoşdere Bus Factory in 50, thus achieved energy efficiency of up to 30 percent in the relevant systems.

Mercedes-Benz Türk Headquarters & Marketing Center will produce its own energy

The company, which also started to work on the installation of a 3470 kWp solar power plant at Mercedes-Benz Türk Headquarters & Marketing Center, plans to complete the project in 2023. With the commissioning of the solar power plant, the company will supply approximately 80 percent of the electrical energy needs of the Headquarters & Marketing Center from green energy.

Only in 2022, the energy consumption rate per vehicle was reduced by 16 percent compared to the previous year. With the said rate, the lowest level of consumption and CO2 gas emissions per vehicle has been reached since the day the factory started its operations.

Mercedes-Benz Türk also started field work for the installation of a 2 MWe solar power plant on the hall roofs of the Aksaray Truck Factory in line with its goal of becoming a "Green Factory" in 2022, when the energy survey was conducted and the roadmap for CO6 emission reduction was prepared. With the commissioning of the said power plant, the company aims to significantly reduce the amount of CO2 released to nature.
