Skilled Hands Meet Vocational Training Fair Has Started

Organized under the coordination of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, Master Hands Meet Vocational Training - Cosmetics Product and Equipment Fair started at Kocaeli Congress Center. At the fair, trainings were given to barbers and hairdressers on Haircut, Turban, Bun, Makeup, Coloring and Skin Care Techniques. The fair, which will be open tomorrow (Monday, January 9), draws attention in terms of bringing sector representatives, hairdressers and citizens together.

“WE ARE WORKING TO MAKE URBAN RESIDENTS HAPPY”

Yaşar Çakmak, Deputy Mayor of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, who made the opening speech of the program, said that they were together again with a nice meeting. Çakmak, who likened the work of the Metropolitan to the work of hairdressers and barbers, said, “It is a fun and enjoyable profession. You make an effort to beautify people physically. You make people happy. As a metropolitan city, we try to make the residents of the city happy. We are working for the needs of our people with both infrastructure and superstructure services.” Çakmak said, “We are opening courses in different branches with KO-MEK so that our masters can train. Labour would like to thank everyone who contributed. “It was a really great program,” he said.

NEW PRODUCTS MEET WITH THE INDUSTRY

Bayram Karakaş, President of the Turkish Barbers and Hairdressers Federation, said, “These social projects that bring tradesmen and artisans together are extremely important. We find this event, where the most important experts of Turkey will be training, very valuable for the sector.” Mustafa Bozkurt, Head of Kocaeli Chamber of Barbers, said that they enabled new products in the sector to reach hairdressers and barbers with the fair.

GIFTS GIVEN TO ARTISTS

It is aimed to create sectoral awareness with the event jointly organized by the Metropolitan, Kocaeli Chamber of Barbers, Kocaeli Chamber of Hairdressers, Gebze Chamber of Barbers and Hairdressers, Gölcük Chamber of Barbers and Hairdressers, Mixed Chambers, Provincial Directorate of Commerce, Marka, KOSGEB and ISKUR. In the event, various gifts were distributed along with certificates to the tradesmen who participated in the training program. In addition, various gifts were given with the drawing held during the program.
