Premium car manufacturer Lexus marked the Tokyo Auto Salon 2023 with new concepts that appeal to different lifestyles. RZ Sport Concept, RX Outdoor Concept, ROV Concept 2 and GX Outdoor Concept were shown at the fair.
“Unique electric experience with the RZ Sport Concept”
Seeing electrification as an opportunity to offer a more immersive driving experience, Lexus showed the RZ Sport Concept for the first time at Tokyo Auto Salon 2023. The concept vehicle, built on Lexus' all-electric model RZ, offers a much more powerful driving performance with 150 kW engines positioned at the front and rear. The RZ Sport concept, which has been lowered by 35 mm compared to the standard vehicle and equipped with special body parts, has larger wheels and sports seats. Developed with racing driver Masahiro Sasaki, the RZ Sport Concept was designed with a color theme that reflects the high performance of the electric vehicle.

Lexus also exhibited its special adventure vehicles at the Tokyo Outdoor Show, which is a part of the Tokyo fair. Continuing to work for a carbon-neutral society, Lexus also aims to make people more intertwined with nature while doing this. In this context, Lexus showed the RX Outdoor Concept, ROV Concept 2 and GX Outdoor Concept.
The RX Outdoor Concept, built on the new Lexus RX 450h+, is equipped with comfortable equipment for outdoor activities as well as its special design. The RX Outdoor Concept with a folding roof tent was designed with LED lights and special bumpers.
In addition, the ROV Concept 2, the updated version of Lexus' buggy concept, aims to overcome difficult roads in a fun way with its hydrogen engine. Another model at the fair, the GX Outdoor Concept, was shown with equipment that appeals to those who love outdoor adventure under all conditions.
