Karabağlar's Cat Houses for 2023 Are Ready

The distribution of wooden cat houses, which have started to be installed in the parks in Karabağlar, in order for stray cats to continue their lives in a healthier and more comfortable environment, will continue in 2023 as well. These houses, which have the feature of not producing germs and bacteria due to being wooden, protect cats from cold and water in winter and from extreme heat in summer.

Karabağlar Mayor Muhittin Selvitopu went to the Veterinary Affairs Directorate in Uzundere and closely examined the wooden cat houses. Mayor Selvitopu, who loves the cat named “Cotton”, received detailed information about the houses from Murat Aras, Director of Veterinary Affairs.

Stating that they have prepared these houses for our dear friends living on the street, Mayor Selvitopu said, “We are trying to do our best for our dear friends who are struggling to survive in winter conditions, just like us. Especially on cold and rainy days, these cat houses serve an important function. Animals living on the street meet their shelter needs. The houses are both healthy and big. "There is a chance that several cats can be housed at the same time," he said.

Mayor Selvitopu also emphasized that Karabağlar Municipality will continue to stand by the creatures on the street with all its strength.

Wooden cat houses are permanently installed in the designated areas in the parks by the municipality teams.
