Izmir Metropolitan Municipality is launching a series of events titled "Izmir in the History of Music".
In the first of the series organized by the City Archive, Museums and Libraries Branch Directorate, Yaşar Ürük, the President of the İzmir Studies Association, will speak under the title "From Rome to Rebetiko". At the event that will start at 26 on Thursday, January 18.00 at the Ahmet Piriştina City Archive and Museum (APİKAM) Research and Meeting Hall, Ürük will decorate its visual presentation with periodical music samples.
