Istanbul-based Umuda Pedal Association carries out its annual awareness and support rides this year as part of the White Stick Week for TÜRGÖK (Turkish Library for the Visually Impaired) on Sunday, January 8, in Izmir with the organization of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality.

The ride will be attended by many TÜRGÖK-Friendly cyclists from İzmir at 11:00. Karşıyaka It will start in front of Bostanlı Yasemin Cafe and end at İnciraltı Disabled Park. Members of the Co-Pedal Association will also participate in the event, whose entire organization is undertaken by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, with their Tandem bicycles.

TÜRGÖK, which has been producing relief and audio books for 19 years to support the education and cultural development of the blind, provides all these services to its members free of charge.

Since the importance of embossed books is known especially in the education of the blind, the support provided to increase the thousands of embossed books in the library and for its members to benefit from these books for free is of great importance. By donating to TÜRGÖK, it is possible to support the blind to access more relief and audio books.
