China to Build Cognitive Computing Centers in 30 Cities

It has been announced that cognitive computing centers have been built or will be built in more than 30 cities in China. According to the Guidance for the Innovative Development of Cognitive Computing Centers, jointly published by the State Information Center of China and other relevant institutions, cognitive computing centers are currently being built or planned to be built in more than 30 cities of the country.

During the period of China's 2021th Five-Year Plan covering 2025-14, the core industry in artificial intelligence is expected to increase by 2,9-3,4 times, thanks to investments in cognitive computing centers. According to the data, it is estimated that by 2025, the value of China's core industry in artificial intelligence will exceed 400 billion yuan, and the capacity of related industries will exceed 5 trillion yuan.
