Within the framework of the Competitive Sectors Program financed by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey financial cooperation and carried out by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, ATAP A.Ş. Technical Assistance Project Closing Ceremony for the Establishment of Eskişehir Design and Innovation Center (ETIM) and the EDICtive Design Competition Award Ceremony organized within the framework of the Project were held.

The ceremony was attended by Nadir Kupeli, Chairman of the Board of Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone, ATAP A.Ş. Metin Saraç, Chairman of the Board of Directors, ATAP A.Ş. General Manager Sedat Telçeken and Ministry of Industry and Technology Industry and Technology Specialist Ender Şen. The program continued with ETİM Director Hakan Ünal's presentation on ETİM's sustainability. In the event where the outputs obtained within the framework of the project were conveyed, the plaque ceremony of the companies participating in the SME Support Program implemented within the framework of the project would also take place.

In the afternoon session, a panel on “The Future of Additive Manufacturing and Its Impact on Industrial Productivity” was also held. At the panel, ATAP A.Ş. General Manager Under the moderation of Sedat Telçeken, ETİM Director Hakan Ünal, Turkish Additive Manufacturing Association Term President and Istanbul Technical University Mechanical Engineering Department Assoc. Dr. Emrecan Söylemez, Aselsan Materials Design Lead Engineer Dr. Evren Tan and Roger Uceda, Director of Transfer and Valorization from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, shared their knowledge and experience on the subject with the participants. At the end of the ceremony, the groups that ranked high in the industry and university categories in the EDICtive Design Competition were presented their awards.

In the statement made, it is aimed to increase the competitiveness of SMEs operating in the aviation, rail systems, machinery manufacturing, automotive and white goods sectors with innovative products in the world markets. Aiming to contribute directly to the development of engineering, design and prototyping capabilities of SMEs, ETİM carries out studies to reduce the foreign trade deficit of our country and to increase the competitiveness level of the region. ETIM, which will make significant contributions to the country's industry, has taken its place in Eskişehir industry as a center where dreams come true with Innovation. ETIM, which was implemented by ETGB management company ATAP A.Ş, was established on an area of ​​100 square meters in the Eskişehir Technology Development Zone - Organized Industrial Zone Campus. Among the stakeholders of ETİM are Eskişehir OIZ Directorate, Eskişehir Chamber of Industry, Osmangazi University, Anadolu University, Rail Systems and Eskişehir Aviation clusters.
