Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Hasan Büyükdede met with the representatives of the elevator industry at the panel held in Bursa with the theme of "Domestic and National Elevator" within the scope of the Industry and Technology Cooperation Board (SANTEK) activities, which was established to determine the policies and strategies regarding the industry and technology of the provinces. Bursa Chamber of Industry and Commerce opened Turkey's first and only “Elevator Safety Equipment Test and Development Center”, which started its activities under the roof of MESYEB.

He consulted and evaluated the ongoing industrial investments in Bursa, bringing inactive industrial investments to the economy, new industrial areas to be produced and the problems of the manufacturing sectors. Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Hasan Büyükdede held bilateral meetings with Governor Yakup Canbolat, Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş and Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry President İbrahim Burkay.

Büyükdede, who came together with the representatives of the elevator sector within the scope of SANTEK, emphasized that the Elevator Safety Equipment Test and Development Center is important for the adventure of assembly, component manufacturing and the expansion of domestic and national elevator brands in elevator manufacturing.

PRODUCTION CAPABILITY

Expressing that the elevator industry should be considered directly with the urbanization and the construction industry developing accordingly, Büyükdede stated that Turkey has proven its maturity as a production capability in elevator and elevator parts. Büyükdede said that it is necessary to focus on elevator sales by creating global brands.

TURKEY'S LOCOMOTIVE CITY

Deputy Minister Hasan Büyükdede, who organized a study visit to Ermetal Automotive, HKS Has Elevator, Bosch, Ermaksan Makine and Elringklinger Tr Automotive facilities, expressed his belief that Bursa will continue on its way as the locomotive city of developing Turkey and thanked the industrialists.
