Cinema and Press Museum brought into service by Karaköprü Municipality is opened. The Cinema and Press Museum, which was brought to the district with the initiatives of Karaköprü Mayor Metin Baydilli, will be opened on Tuesday, January 10.

While the biographies, equipment and memories of journalists who have served in Şanlıurfa from past to present are exhibited at the Cinema and Press Museum; In the cinema section, films shot in Şanlıurfa, their posters, biographies of Şanlıurfa film actors and various materials used in the cinema will be exhibited.

There is also a mini movie theater inside the museum, while citizens visiting the museum will be able to watch old movies shot in Şanlıurfa in the movie theater.

Karaköprü Mayor Metin Baydilli noted that the Cinema and Press Museum is also a valuable museum that should be visited, and said, “Since Karaköprü is a newly established young district, we wanted to make it a center of attraction. In this sense, we first established museums in Şanlıurfa to make our district a museum city. After establishing the Game and Toy Museum for the first time, we brought the Müslüm Gürses Museum. Now, with the Cinema and Press Museum, we are increasing the number of museums we have brought to our district to three.” used the phrases.

Wishing the museum to be ready for the district and Şanlıurfa, Mayor Baydilli said, “Our Cinema and Press Museum has become a beautiful museum that really carries the memory of the city and exhibits the memories and efforts of our valuable press. In order to make the opening of our museum more meaningful, we will organize the Working Journalists' Day on January 10. We are waiting for all our citizens and valuable members of the press to our opening.” said.

The Cinema and Press Museum, which Karaköprü Municipality brought to Şanlıurfa, is located next to the Müslüm Gürses Museum in Yaşam Park, and the opening of the museum will take place on Tuesday, January 10, at 13.00.
