Horgos, the border station in the Xinjiang Autonomous Uyghur Region in northwest China, processed more than 2022 Sino-European freight trains in 7, according to local railway officials.
China Railway Urumqi Group Co., Ltd. During the year 2022, daily average China-Europe freight train crossings remained above 19; reported that the highest daily pass was 27. The aforementioned company attributes the popularity of the service on this route to the high volume of freight transported, the low transport prices, the comprehensiveness of the railway network and the stability of the service.
According to Horgos customs, since the beginning of 2022, freight trains passing through this station have carried more than 140 types of goods to China. Among them, machinery and equipment from Germany, mineral products from Central Asia were shipped to provinces and cities such as Hebei, Henan, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Shanghai and Chongqing.
