As of December 22, 2022, the first charter flights of the 2022/2023 ski season to Erciyes, which opened the winter season and flocked to ski lovers, took place from the capital of Poland, Warsaw, and the capital of Russia, Moscow. The first tourist group of 1000 people settled in Erciyes, Kayseri, in mountain and city hotels.
In addition to the charter flights that will last until the last week of March, around 40.000 foreign tourists from all over the world are expected to spend their winter holidays in Erciyes Ski Center, together with the foreign tourists arriving via Istanbul.
Foreign tourists, who come to Erciyes with one-week holiday packages from Moscow and Warsaw for the winter holidays, are not content with just skiing, but discover the historical and natural beauties of Kayseri, which is home to many civilizations with its 6-year-old history, while in Cappadocia, which is 45 minutes away. will visit the fairy chimneys and have a balloon experience.
Tourists also find the opportunity to taste the local delicacies of Kayseri, such as pastrami, sausage, ravioli, by staying in mountain and city hotels. Therefore, as a winter destination that offers many categories of tourism such as winter, history, culture, religion, gastronomy and shopping at the same time, Erciyes will host foreigners with its unique features in the world.
