Capital Fathers Completed 'Father Support Program'

After completing the "Father Support Program" organized in cooperation with the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality and the Mother Child Education Foundation (AÇEV) to raise awareness of fathers about the needs of their children and to communicate with them in a healthy way, 30 capital city fathers received their father certificates.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues its efforts to strengthen the family, which is the basis of society, with the understanding of social municipality.

The "Father Support Program", organized in cooperation with the Mother Child Education Foundation (AÇEV) and ABB, and prepared in line with scientific developments and social needs, was completed.

30 fathers who participated in the training organized by the Department of Women and Family Services received their certificates. Providing information on the subject, ABB Women and Family Services Department Child Services Branch Manager Burcu Kurt Çiçek said, “First of all, I would like to thank our fathers for their interest in this program for 13 weeks. As the Child Services Branch Directorate, we work for our children and continue to be a pioneer in activities that will be beneficial for them.”

AÇEV Ankara Representative Seda Yılmaz said:

“First of all, I would like to thank you and your spouses wholeheartedly for trusting us and continuing these courses. You have been involved in a very special and important program. You will feel it in every phase of your life from now on. Thank you very much for participating.”

THANKS TO ABB FROM TRAINING PARTICIPANTS

Fathers and their spouses who received their post-training certificates expressed their thoughts as follows:

Izzet Day: “The program has been very productive for us. Thank you very much to everyone involved.”

Emine Aydin: “First of all, the opening of kindergartens and the provision of these courses were very important for us women to work. Thank you very much everyone.”

Cihan Tonyali: “I would like to thank Ankara Metropolitan Municipality very much. They gave us these trainings in the evening hours. It was a very different and beautiful experience for us.”

Within the scope of the program, fathers who participated in the training were given a 13-week training on correct communication with children, understanding their needs correctly, correcting violent behavior in the family, the importance of family democracy and a happy family structure.
