The “Çanakkale Traveling Museum”, which was opened to visitors at the Yunus Emre Cultural Center hosted by the Toroslar Municipality, attracts great attention from the citizens, especially the students.

With the motto of the 100th Anniversary of the Gallipoli Wars Association, "Canakkale Every Day, Not One Day", the traveling museum aims to convey the epic struggle and heroism of the Dardanelles War to new generations.

Toroslar Mayor Atsız Afşın Yılmaz also visited the museum with the students and asked them not to forget the conditions under which this homeland was entrusted to us.

In the museum where the items used by the soldiers in the Battle of Çanakkale and war materials are exhibited, short stories of the events experienced in the war are told to the participants by Ali Murat Kalegil, the representative of the 100th Anniversary of the Çanakkale Wars Association.

Stating that they are proud to host the museum in Toroslar, Mayor of Toroslar Atsız Afşın Yılmaz; President Yılmaz said, “The Çanakkale Victory is far more than an achievement, it is a glorious epic where our ancestors steered history with their struggle to exist in poverty”; “The love of homeland that our nation has shown in the face of impossibilities has made the world say "Çanakkale is impassable". What makes Çanakkale impassable is the unshakable unity and solidarity of the Turkish Nation, which has valued its independence and independence above everything throughout history. Our duty today; to protect the Republic of Turkey entrusted to us by our ancestors, to preserve our unity and solidarity, to keep the Çanakkale spirit and determination alive and to pass it on to future generations. I commemorate our martyrs and heroic veterans who sacrificed their lives for their homeland, especially Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of our Republic, and his comrades in arms, with mercy, gratitude and gratitude.

Opened to visitors at Yunus Emre Cultural Center, the museum will host its visitors between 13 and 09.00 until Friday, January 16.00.
