Arabayatağı Kestel Metro Services Restarted in Bursa

The Arabayatağı – Kestel metro line services, which stopped because the roof of a building fell on the line and cut off the energy lines due to severe southwester in Bursa, resumed after the teams worked for 13 hours without interruption.

The southeastern speed of Bursa, whose speed sometimes exceeds 75 kilometers at night, has negatively affected life. The roof of a 3-storey building on the side of the Ankara road in the Hacivat District of Yıldırım district was blown off with a loud noise at 01.57:4 and fell first on the road and then on the metro line. During the incident, a possible disaster was prevented due to the absence of a car on the road and the lack of metro services, while XNUMX poles that provided energy to the line were knocked down and the line was left without energy. Burulaş teams, who saw the power cut in the line from the central system, immediately moved to the region. Because part of the roof was also on the road, the police blocked the road to traffic. After the work of the police, fire department and Metropolitan teams, the road was opened to traffic in a short time, and the roof parts on the metro line were removed.

13 hours of work

In addition to the lack of energy in the section of the metro line between Arabayatagi and Kestel, the signaling system also collapsed due to the incident. Therefore, while the expeditions could not be started in the morning, additional bus services were put into use so that the citizens would not have any problems in transportation. Transportation between Arabayatağı and Kestel was provided uninterruptedly by mutual bus services. Burulaş started a feverish work with a team of 150 people on the line from the first moment of the incident so that the citizens would not have problems in transportation. The teams, which worked non-stop for 13 hours to remove debris, renew the broken lines and reactivate the signaling system, reopened the Arabayatagi - Kestel line to service as of 14.55.
