Anibal Dalcik Top in Gebze Closed to Traffic Flow

Reducing the traffic load in key points of the district with the traffic circulation plan project that it has successfully implemented in Gebze, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality continues its projects and practices that will ease transportation. The Metropolitan, which provides significant facilities in transportation to the people of Gebze as well as throughout Kocaeli with physical investments such as bridges, new roads and junctions, will significantly relieve the traffic flow in front of Gebze Center, Center Junction Bridge and the roads connected to these places, especially Gebze Anibal Junction, within the scope of the new circulation plan.

VEHICLE DRIVERS WILL USE THE BRIDGE

In line with the plan, the Metropolitan closed the top of the Anibal Junction (sunk-out) where the traffic density was experienced, to the traffic flow. In this case, vehicle drivers who want to connect to the side road from the direction of Istanbul and go to the route of Gebze Municipality or Gebze Municipality will not be able to use the diving board in line with the new plan. Drivers will continue in the direction of Gebze Center and cross the bridge and enter İlyasbey Street from the northern side road.

CAR PARK FOR 16 VEHICLES IN THE AREA CLOSED TO TRAFFIC

The teams of the Department of Science Affairs will use the top of the Hannibal Junction (sunk-out) as a parking lot, which was closed within the scope of the traffic circulation plan. The teams, which will remove the parking in front of the tradesmen in order to prevent the traffic density, will instead build a parking lot with a capacity of 16 vehicles in the area closed to the traffic flow.

ILYASBEY AVENUE WILL BE ONE WAY

Within the scope of the traffic circulation plan, İlyasbey Street, which operates in two directions, will be one-way in the future. In order to put the plan into practice, the process of moving the current state building to its new location, which is under construction by the Metropolitan, will be expected. After the current state building is demolished, İlyasbey Caddesi will be closed to the D-100 route from Yeni Bağdat Caddesi.
