Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu stated that they aim to complete the Altunizade-Çamlıca-Bosna Boulevard Metro in the first half of 2024 and said, “Our line is approximately 4,5 kilometers connecting Üsküdar-Ümraniye Çekmeköy Metro and metrobus lines to Çamlıca, Ferah Mahallesi and Bosna Boulevard. The travel time between Bosnia Boulevard and Gayrettepe will be 19 minutes, and the travel time between Bosna Boulevard and Çekmeköy will be 32 minutes.

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu visited the Altunizade-Çamlıca Mosque-Bosna Boulevard Metro construction site and made inspections. For these purposes, we are moving decisively on our way with the investments that we put into service and continue to build.”

Emphasizing that they made a strong start to the new century of the Republic by opening 7 different highway projects in Bursa and the groundbreaking ceremony of TEKNOSAB Junction last week, Karaismailoğlu said that they were in Antalya with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Saturday and that they presented the completed projects to the service of the nation. “There are many more to come. Karaismailoğlu said, "The year 2023 will be a year when we complete very big projects and bring them to our nation," and noted that a Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure storm will blow all over Turkey, especially in Istanbul.

“We will continue to weave our country with iron nets, and under the leadership of our President, we will undertake projects that will raise the Turkish Century to glory in every sector in our area of ​​responsibility. As you know, we equip Istanbul with modern rail system networks to make it one of the cities with the most developed transportation infrastructure in Europe and the world. We are implementing the world's most original and modern urban rail system projects one by one. We have left behind a year in which the metro construction works continued successfully and the projects were now at the completion stage. Kadıköy We opened the 7,4 kilometer long metro line, which we extended the Kartal metro from Pendik to Sabiha Gökçen Airport, on October 2, together with our President, and put it into service. Now we have other lines. First of all, we will open the 32-kilometer Kağıthane-Istanbul Airport Metro Line this month, whose manufacturing processes are completed and signaling tests are ongoing. Then Başakşehir-Pine and Sakura City Hospital-Kayaşehir Metro Line, and then; We will also complete the Gayrettepe-Kağıthane Metro Line, Kazlıçeşme-Sirkeci Rail System and Pedestrian Focused New Generation Transportation Project, and Bakırköy-Kirazlı Metro Line projects, and put them at the disposal of Istanbul residents. As soon as our Istanbul Airport Metro Lines are opened, they will be among the most original urban rail system projects in the world. As the fastest speed in Turkey with a speed of 120 kilometers per hour, it will be put into the service of Istanbul and the world as a result of our storm.”

Pointing out that they aim to complete the Altunizade-Çamlıca-Bosna Boulevard Metro in the first half of 2024, Minister of Transport Karaismailoğlu stated that they continue to work on 96 lines, on a 6/7 basis, with a length of approximately 24 kilometers. In the coming days, we will put the AKM-Gar-Kızılay Metro into service in Ankara, the first stage of the Gebze Sahil-Darica OSB Metro in Kocaeli, and the Anafartalar-HT Tram Line in Kayseri, where the works are ongoing. In 2023, we will complete very big projects on highways and put them at the service of our nation and the world. We will open a significant part of Aydın-Denizli Highway to traffic. We will start the construction of the Ankara-Kırıkkale-Delice Highway, the Antalya-Alanya Highway and the Kınalı-Malkara section of the Kınalı-Tekirdağ-Malkara-Canakkale-Highway. Zigana Tunnel, which will be the longest double-tube highway tunnel in our country and Europe, Adana 15 July Martyrs Bridge, Çayırhan Bridge and Connection Tunnel in Ankara, Yağdonduran Tunnel and an important part of Malatya Ring Road, where we put into service the first stage. We will put it at the service of our nation and the world. We are also completing the Ankara-Sivas High Speed ​​​​Train Project. By putting Çukurova Regional Airport into service in the first quarter of 2023, we will add strength to our airline transportation network.”

METRO LINE TO ÇAMLICA, TOURISM REGION

Karaismailoğlu, who also gave information about the Altunizade – Ferah Mahallesi – Çamlıca Mosque – Bosnia Boulevard Metro Line, said, “Our line is a 4,5 kilometer long 4 station connecting Üsküdar-Ümraniye Çekmeköy Metro and metrobus lines to Çamlıca, the spacious neighborhood and the Bosna Boulevard. rail system project. It will serve Çamlıca Hill and the densely populated Kısıklı, Ferah, Mehmet Akif Ersoy and Yavuztürk Neighborhoods. These regions are the most visited areas for both touristic and religious purposes. Within the scope of the project, a total of 4 thousand 615 meters of tunnels will be manufactured. Until today, we have made progress at the level of 10 percent by opening an average of 36 meters of tunnels per day with uninterrupted work. We completed 542 of the 412 bored piles at the stations and increased the progress level to 76 percent. With the commissioning of the project, which will be integrated with the Üsküdar-Ümraniye-Çekmeköy Metro from Altunizade Station and the metrobus line in Altunizade; Travel time between Bosnia Boulevard - Gayrettepe is 19 minutes, travel time between Bosna Boulevard - Çekmeköy is 32 minutes, travel time between Ferah Mahallesi - Söğütlüçeşme is 11 minutes, travel time between Ferah Mahallesi - Taksim is 33 minutes, travel time between Ferah Mahallesi - Sabiha Gökçen Airport is 50 minutes and the travel time between Bosnia Boulevard and Istanbul Airport will be 50 minutes. Referring to the Istanbul transportation master plan, Minister of Transport Karaismailoğlu said that according to this plan, Istanbul needs 1100 kilometers of metro lines. Karaismailoğlu said, “We need to bring the rail system to every corner of Istanbul. As the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, we are taking our steps and working in this direction. No one should doubt that the service period of our government, especially our President, in Istanbul will not end. We are always next to and close to Istanbul and Istanbulites,” he concluded.
