Continuing to open alternative routes to relieve city traffic, Konya Metropolitan Municipality continues its works on Alparslan Türkeş Street, which is 3,5 kilometers long, which will connect Gaza Street and Karaman Street.
Konya Metropolitan Municipality is working hard to complete Alparslan Türkeş Street, which will provide the connection between Gaza Street and Karaman Street.

Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Uğur İbrahim Altay stated that they continue to create alternative routes to ease the city traffic and said that they are working to bring Alparslan Türkeş Street to Konya after İsmail Ketenci, Celaleddin Karatay and Abdülhamid Han Streets.

Noting that Alparslan Türkeş Avenue, which will be one of the important transportation axes of Meram district, will have a length of 3,5 kilometers and a width of 30 meters, Mayor Altay said, “We are adding a new axis of 3,5 kilometers between Gaza Avenue and Karaman Avenue. Our work continues unabated. When the works are completed, our citizens will have one of the most beautiful streets of Konya.” he said.

Alparslan Türkeş Avenue, which will cost 93 million 500 thousand liras with expropriation and infrastructure investments, will be completed in 2023.

WORK CONTINUES ON 3 MORE NEW STREETS

Konya Metropolitan Municipality, which will provide the connection between the Chechnya Köprülü Junction and the Antalya Ring Road, will connect the Antalya Ring Road starting from Kazakhstan and Karabağ Streets and Fatih Street, through Azerbaijan Street and Gaza Street. Dr. Construction continues on Necmettin Erbakan Street.
