Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç continues his diligent efforts to make the city's transportation network more comfortable with each passing day. Büyükkılıç stated that the test drives continued on the Anafartalar-Şehir Hospital-Furniture City Tram Line, where the Rail Welding Ceremony was held 13 months ago, and said, "Our new tram network suits our Kayseri very well."
Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Inc., which is preparing to maximize the comfort of transportation with the tram lines in Kayseri, continues its test drives on the Anafartalar-City Hospital-Furniture City Tram Line.
Metropolitan Mayor Dr. In his statement on the subject, Memduh Büyükkılıç stated that the test drives on the Anafartalar-Şehir Hospital-Furniture City Tram Line are continuing, and said, "Our Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu and our Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar and our AK Party Deputy Chairman Mehmet We did it 13 months ago with Özhaseki's participation. Thankfully, the work has been completed and our test drives are being carried out," he said.
Noting that the project, which consists of 7 stations with a length of 11 kilometers, was completed by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure on a 300/7 basis with 24 personnel, President Büyükkılıç said, “We thank our Minister, Mr. Adil Karaismailoğlu. It was an important project in terms of adding value to our Kayseri. We are also grateful to Mr. Mehmet Özhaseki Minister and Minister Hulusi Akar for their services and great contributions to Kayseri”.
“IT SUITABLE FOR OUR KAYSERİ”
Stating that the Anafartalar-City Hospital-Furniture City Tram Line will serve on an important route as the bus station and Kayseri City Hospital and its continuation, Büyükkılıç said, “We have applied passenger information signs to our tram vehicles that will carry our citizens on our line. We continue our test drives intensively. Hopefully it will start serving soon. Our new tram network suits our Kayseri very well,” he said.
42 KILOMETERS REACHED, FURIOUS WORK CONTINUES FOR 48 KILOMETERS
Pointing out that the length of the rail system, which is currently 35 kilometers, has increased to 42 kilometers with the Anafartalar-Şehir Hospital-Furniture City Tram Line, Mayor Büyükkılıç said, “We have increased the number of stations from 55 to 66. We are increasing the number of rail system vehicles from 69 to 80 with our new trams, which are dressed in the colors of our local and national Kayserispor. In addition, when our Martyr Furkan Doğan-Talas Mevlana rail system line, which is currently working feverishly and has 9 passenger stations, is completed, I hope our rail system network will reach 48 kilometers.”
Büyükkılıç emphasized that transportation to the important points of the city will become faster and more comfortable with the developing rail system lines, which are aimed to reach a passenger carrying capacity of around 175 thousand.
