With the works carried out by the General Directorate of İZSU on the Mersinli Stream, which passes through the Özbey District in Torbalı, the problem of flooding in the region during heavy rains has been resolved.
The problem of flooding in the Mersinli Stream, which passes through the Özbey District of Torbalı, was eliminated with the comprehensive work completed by the İZSU teams. In the examinations carried out in the region upon the request of the neighborhood headman, it was determined that the stream section, which was produced by the district municipality in the previous periods, was clogged due to the waste materials coming from the valley and the hydraulic flow was disturbed.
The teams, which started to work in line with the determinations, realized the production of 12 new prefabricated structures after the dismantling of the old structures in the stream bed. The completed works solved the problem that caused the flood in the village.
