Mersin Bar Association organized a panel on "Lawyer Profession from Past to Present and Current Issues". Mersin Bar Association President Atty. The seminar, which was moderated by Gazi Özdemir, was attended by CHP Mersin Deputy Atty. Alpay Antmen, members of the board of directors of the bar association, TBB President Atty. R. Erinç Sağkan, TBB Secretary General Atty. Veli Küçük, Adana Bar Association President Adv. Semih Gökayaz, President of the Ankara Bar Association, Atty. Mustafa Köroğlu, President of the Antalya Bar Association, Atty. Hüseyin Geçilmez, President of Gaziantep Bar Association, Atty. İskender Kahraman, lawyers and trainee lawyers attended.
In the seminar where the problems of the legal profession were discussed, it was emphasized that bar associations and lawyers should embrace professional problems and struggle together in order to leave a good profession to future generations.
In the seminar, the management of the Union of Turkish Bar Associations gave information about the work it has done to solve the problems for the future of the lawyer profession during its 1-year term of office. In the seminar where the management of the Union of Turkish Bar Associations and the heads of the bar associations took the floor, the current problems of the legal profession and solution suggestions were explained.
In this context; economic problems of lawyers, economic problems of trainee lawyers, problems of labor lawyers, problems in our legal system, violation of personal rights and freedoms, the struggle to improve the CMK fee schedule, changes in the professional rules of the Union of Turkish Bar Associations, the short, medium and long term of the Union of Turkish Bar Associations The professional problems it will solve, the prevention of violence against lawyers, the struggles against the multiple bar association system, the problem of belonging to bar associations and lawyers, the social assistance and solidarity fund of the Union of Bar Associations of Turkey, and the charging of lawyers for the courthouse parking lot were discussed.
Presenting a plaque to the participants at the end of the seminar, Mersin Bar Association President Atty. Gazi Özdemir stated that they struggle a lot with the Union of Turkish Bar Associations and the presidents of the bar associations to solve the problems, and thanked the management of the Union of Turkish Bar Associations and the presidents of the bar associations for their efforts to solve the problems and their presentations.
