China's deep-sea manned submarine Fendouzhe successfully landed today at the deepest point of the Diamantina Trench in the Indian Ocean.
Carried by the Tansuo-1 scientific research vessel, Fendouzhe broke new ground by landing at the bottom of the Diamantina Trench at a depth of 8 meters.
It was stated that this success of China is of great importance for deep-sea research.
