Details of Akcaabat Beach Park Renovation Project Announced

Akcaabat Mayor Osman Nuri October explained the details of the Beach Park Renovation project at the third meeting of the January Assembly meeting.

IT WILL BE A MODERN AND MORE FUNCTIONAL BEACH

Explaining the details of the Beach Park Renovation Work at the January Assembly Meeting, Mayor Osman Nuri Ekim gave the following statements in his speech; “Within the scope of the works carried out in the coastal park by the contractor company within the scope of the project, the lighting and irrigation system on the beach is being reconstructed by combining it with modern technology. Within the scope of the ongoing works in phases, first of all, improvement and renewal works will be carried out in the park section up to where the existing marina section is located. In the continuation of the project, improvements will be made on hard floors and arrangements will be made in parking areas. In addition to all these works, walking and cycling paths will be built in the coastal park, as determined in the project. Appropriate spaces will be designed so that the people of Akcaabat can meet the sea in the coastal park and spend time sitting against the sea. Again, local figures symbolizing our Akcaabat will be placed in the coastal park and areas will be organized for our fellow citizens where they can create various visually beautiful memories. In the coastal park, which is the embrace of green and blue, cafeterias will be built in accordance with the texture, not disrupting the architecture and meeting the needs. When the renovation of Akcaabat Sahil Park is completed, it will become more modern and functional.”

WE WILL BUILD A BEACH THAT CAN BE USED IN SUMMER AND WINTER

The President continued his words as follows; “With the renewal of the coastal park, we will make our Akçaabat beach park, which has become the symbol of Akçaabat and set an example in the region, more functional. We will renew my existing tea gardens in accordance with the texture. We will create closed areas here and ensure that the tea gardens remain open in winter. In the coming days, a natural gas line will be drawn to the coastal park. In addition, TİSKİ is renewing the sewer line here. We will place uniform local product sales kiosks at certain points in the coastal park. Our beach will be live in summer and winter and will be at the service of our citizens. Our goal is to complete this place by the end of June 2023. Our 4-season and 12-month beach park will become functional.”
