THE LAST STEEL BEAM HAS BEEN PLACED
Work continues on the Kuruçeşme Tram Line Project, which will be the new station of the Akçaray Tram, which makes the transportation system in the center of Kocaeli modern, comfortable and safe. A 100-meter-long bridge was built for the new tram line that will connect the Akçaray Tram Line to Kuruçeşme via the D-332 Highway. The assembly of the steel beams between the reinforced concrete beams of the 9-foot and 8-span overpass has been completed. The contractor firm installed the last steel beam.
RAILS LAYING
The project connection of Plajyolu station and Kuruçeşme station has been completed. The gap between the steel beams is filled with plates and welded. Work continues for the laying of the rails on the Kuruçeşme Tramway line, where the assembly of steel beams has been completed. From Kuruçeşme direction to Izmit center direction, the basic production of the Catenary poles and the assembly of the rails and parts of the rails were started.
STATION CONSTRUCTION STARTED
Work has started for the establishment of Kuruçeşme Station, which will be the 16th Station of Akçaray. The teams started to lay stone chips for the construction of Kuruçeşme station stop. After the gravel is laid, the station will be built. When the works are completed, it will reach a double line of 10 thousand 212 meters with its new line. The single-line length of the tram will reach 3 kilometers, with a 23,4-kilometer single-line warehouse area.
