Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Vahit Kirişci attended the promotional meeting of the mobile application developed by the ministry and offered to the service of farmers. Minister Kirişci stated that the TarımCebmde mobile application is revolutionary in terms of digitalization and stated that he can access "earring inquiry" and "support calendar" through the application.

In his speech here, Kirişci underlined that digitalization is essential for food supply security and product planning.

In this context, Minister Kirişci reminded that they brought the opportunity to carry out some works and transactions related to the Farmer Registration System (ÇKS) via e-Government, and said that with this integration, farmers had created 2 million 2 thousand 824 ÇKS documents as of January 44nd.

Noting that his work on digitalization continues in a planned manner, Vahit Kirişci made the following assessments:

“We can call our TarımCebmde mobile application a revolution in the name of digitalization. It will be the first version of the application that we will share here. TarımCebmde 1.0 is a completely domestic and national application. The mind and sweat poured into the implementation of the application from the first day to the present belongs entirely to the personnel of our Ministry. No special budget was created for the implementation, and the internal resources of our Ministry were mobilized. As of January 1.0, when the TarımCebmde 1 mobile application is downloaded and opened on a mobile device from all mobile markets, the home page can be accessed without requiring any registration.”

Kirişci stated that the users of TarımCebmde application are divided into two, and that the application can be used by farmers registered to the Ministry and other users. Minister Kirişci noted the following regarding the implementation:

“Other users, that is, anyone who wants to get information will be able to use the application. District-based product recommendations are open to everyone. The menu for obtaining ÇKS certificate is an area that our registered farmers can enter. The support menu is open to all. There are 7 submenus in the menu about animal production, there are also open menus here, for example, earring inquiry is open to everyone. In the support calendar menu, there is information about the dates of the support to be given. The mobile application also includes sections on news and announcements. There is also information about education and broadcasting that everyone can access. There is also the e-Government service menu, where you are directed to the services offered by our Ministry through e-Government.”

Sharing the knowledge that the application will be constantly improved, Kirişci explained that the feedbacks of the users will be taken into account in this framework.

Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Kirişci emphasized that in the new versions of the application, parcel-based product proposals will be made to farmers, taking into account the climate, soil and water constraints, and added that services related to production activities such as beekeeping, aquaculture and silkworm breeding will be added.

After the presentation, Minister Kirişci and two farmers made various transactions through TarımCebmde application.
