Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, under the management of Mayor Büyükkılıç, completes the road construction works in 5 different regions by making strategic moves for comfortable, safe and uninterrupted transportation in the city, while continuing the works at full speed in 10 different regions.
Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç stated that they completed the construction of the main arteries and boulevards, which have strategic importance in the city, and put them into service in just one year, and said, "We are working for more comfortable, faster and safer transportation."
President Büyükkılıç continued his projects in 2022 with the aim of moving Kayseri to better points in the field of transportation, as in every other field. Under the leadership of Mayor Büyükkılıç, which has signed important projects in this field, the Metropolitan Municipality completed the road construction works in 1 different strategic regions within 5 year and put it into service.

He said that the works were completed and put into service in 5 different regions, including the Disposal Facility road and intersection arrangements and the road arrangements around the City Hospital Rail System Line.
Mayor Büyükkılıç stated that all works are continuing in Kayseri, including the intersection arrangements, works on the main arteries, underpasses, overpasses, and the dimensions that intersect with the tram.

President Büyükkılıç also talked about the applications that will provide convenience in the field of transportation and said, “We are working for more comfortable, faster and safer transportation. Within the scope of Green Wave Application, Green Wave application was made at 10 Junctions in 66 Arteries. The construction of the 'Traffic Control Center', where Intelligent Traffic Management will be realized, was completed and put into service. 94 junctions have been made smart and 80 percent of the existing traffic will be managed. The KBB Traffic Mobile Application is used by more than 80 thousand people, and our citizens have been brought together with the Smart Traffic Management System.
APPROXIMATELY 2022 MILLION TL SUBVANCED TO PUBLIC TRANSPORT IN 600
Emphasizing that they subsidized public transportation for approximately 2022 million TL in 600, Büyükkılıç said:
“Park and Valet service has been put into use in Kaleönü and Kiçikapı regions. We increased the number of KAYBIS stations to 57. We started to work on increasing the number of these stations to 81. 30 bicycle parking stops have been made. Bicycle Repair/Maintenance Station was established. We increased the number of closed stops to 8 in order to provide comfort in transportation. We have commissioned Passenger Information Screens at Rail System Stations. We reduced the discounted subscription card to 100 TL and the full subscription card to 300 TL. We have increased the number of discounted subscription users more than 14 times. Online and mobile balance loading to public transportation, Debit/Credit cards and NFC payment options were introduced. In 2022, we subsidized public transportation by approximately 600 million TL. 2 pieces of 18 meters Articulated Bus have joined our fleet. 10 pieces of 18 meters Articulated Buses will be included in the fleet very soon.”
