Within the framework of cooperation, it was also decided to act jointly on the 12th Development Plan. Making a statement after the signing ceremony, the Chairman of the Board of Directors expressed the following:

Mr. Ali Ercan Güleç, Chairman of the Board of the Railway Transport Association; “While the pandemic and hot conflicts in recent years caused major disruptions in logistics channels, they also caused changes in production centers. These experiences gave our country the opportunity to become a logistics center as well as an important production center. At this point, as three important non-governmental organizations of the logistics sector, we believe that our cooperation will be of great importance in order to ensure that the necessary infrastructure and legislation are prepared as soon as possible in order to transport the production of our industrialists to export markets in the shortest and most efficient way in the light of these changes and to make our country a logistics center. ”

Aydın Erdemir, Chairman of the Board of the Turkish Port Operators Association; “As the three big and well-established non-governmental organizations of the Turkish logistics industry, we could already speak the same language together, but making our institutions a power was a very important step for all of us.” In addition to his statements, Aydın Erdemir emphasized that the steps taken together are more effective and stronger, and therefore, visits should be made together as well as studies and researches. Adding that the TÜRKLİM association office is always open to UTIKAD and DTD employees, Mr. Erdemir stated that we will see the fruits of this cooperation in the coming period.

Ayşem Ulusoy, Chairman of the Board of the International Forwarding and Logistics Service Providers Association; “We observe that the Turkish logistics industry has gained great momentum. We believe that this acceleration will increase with the investments that are designed correctly and on time. At this point, we are very pleased to have come together as three well-established and productive non-governmental organizations of our industry and to have signed such a protocol. We will develop our problems and solution proposals with a common mind, and we will convey this to the public and the public with a common voice. Because we foresee that a collective perspective and working environment will be of great benefit to all of us. This is exactly why we are launching the Round Table Meetings, the first of which will take place on January 27, 2023. We also have high expectations from the meetings where we will be together with all our stakeholder NGO representatives and jointly produce solutions.”
