Sevgi Özçelik has been appointed as the General Secretary of the Association of Vehicles Supply Manufacturers (TAYSAD), which is the sole representative of the Turkish automotive supply industry with more than 500 members in Turkey.
Özçelik, who was appointed as the Secretary General as of January, said, “The founders of the automotive supply industry were brave, they accomplished things that seemed impossible to do. They have moved their operations from small workshops to large enterprises. Based on the fact that they could not survive in the competition with their businesses alone, they came together and founded TAYSAD. At the point we have reached today, our association closely follows the new trends and changes of the global automotive industry. We try to share these trends and create awareness in our association activities. While we implement all our activities with our motto "Smart, Environmentalist, Sustainable"; We will continue to work with all our strength in order for TAYSAD to achieve its targets in 'adaptation to new technologies', 'strong and competitive supply industry' and 'more exports'.
