In the narcotic operations carried out in the first three weeks of the year in Istanbul, 613 kilograms of drugs were seized and 315 people were arrested.
The teams of the Department of Combating Narcotic Crimes carried out work to catch the suspects who manufacture and trade drugs.
During the operations carried out in Fatih, Büyükçekmece, Esenyurt, Ümraniye, Bağcılar, Beşiktaş, Başakşehir, Silivri, Küçükçekmece, Bahçelievler and Avcılar districts, 1 thousand 21 suspects were detained on January 3-916.
In searches in addresses,
- 613 kilos and 250 grams of drugs,
- 7 automatic pistols,
- 4 pistols,
- 59 pistol rounds,
- 1 rifle and 9 rifle cartridges were captured.
Of the 3 thousand 916 suspects who were referred to the courthouse, 315 were arrested.
