Applications for the support given to breeding heifers in order to support breeders for the development of animal husbandry and healthy animal production will end on January 27.
A support payment of 1 percent of the price determined by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry will be made for the purchase of at least 50, maximum 40 heifers, and 50 percent for those born in Turkey and obtained from heifer centers.
Applications for the support given to breeding heifers in order to support breeders for the development of animal husbandry, ensuring sustainability and healthy animal production in our country will end on January 27.
Within the scope of the President's Decision dated 19/10/2022 and numbered 6243, support is given to breeding heifers in our country.
In this context, 1 percent of the price determined by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry will be paid for the purchase of at least 50 and maximum 40 heifers (including buffalo), and 50 percent for those born in Turkey and obtained from heifer centers.
Pursuant to this decision,
For pregnant heifers between 1-50 heads, 16.000-20.000 TL per animal,
For 8-15 month old female cattle, a grant support payment of 10.000-12.500 TL will be given per animal.
ANIMALS COVERED BY SUPPORT
Of the Carnivorous Breeds angus , charolais, limousin, hereford , Belgium blue; dairy breeds holstein and jersey, combined breeds simenthal (Fleckvieh ), brown Swiss and montbeliard are within the scope of buffalo support.
CONDITIONS TO BENEFIT FROM SUPPORT
In order to benefit from the supports, heifers / buffaloes; It should be obtained from heifer breeding centers, disease-free enterprises, General Directorate of Agricultural Enterprises, Agricultural Credit Cooperatives and their affiliates and breeder/producer organizations.
Pregnant heifer price for support was determined as 40.000 TL/head, 8-15 month old female buffalo price was 25.000 TL/head, pregnant buffalo price was 30.000 TL/head, 8-15 month old female buffalo price was 17.000 TL/head.
Grant payment upper limits will be 40 percent of these amounts.
An enterprise will benefit from the support in such a way as to complete its female animal capacity to a maximum of 50 heads.
Applications will be made to the provincial/district directorates of agriculture and forestry until 27.01.2023.
