Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu paid a visit to the city on Tuesday, January 17 to examine the ongoing transportation investments in Kırıkkale. Karaismailoğlu, who went to the Yahşihan Köprülü Junction construction site on Ankara-Kırıkkale Road within the scope of the program, which also included General Manager of Highways Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, made a statement to the press after his examinations.

Emphasizing that Kırıkkale is located at the crossroads of roads extending to the East, Central Black Sea, East Mediterranean and Southeast, Karaismailoğlu said; “As the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, we are aware of the importance of every project that will strengthen Kırıkkale's transportation network in order for Kırıkkale to achieve the development it deserves and for our citizens in Kırıkkale to benefit from these investments, which open new employment and job opportunities.”

Stating that they have spent approximately 20 billion liras for Kırıkkale's transportation and access investments in the last 8,5 years, and that they have increased the length of the divided road from 39 kilometers to 235 kilometers, Minister Karaismailoğlu said that with Yahşihan Different Level Junction, a faster and safer transportation facility will be established to the provinces, districts and industrial centers. underlined that they will

Sharing the details of Yahşihan Köprülü Junction, which is under construction, Minister Karaismailoğlu said: “Our project; It is between the 47th and 13th kilometers of the Ankara-Kırıkkale State Road, which provides transportation to the city of Ankara with 16 cities in the east. The scope of the work includes 1 interchange and 3 kilometers of road. We are constructing the Yahşihan Differential Interchange with 6 spans and a length of 190 meters. With the completion of the junction, which serves as a signalized level junction, a faster and safer transportation will be provided to the provinces, districts and industrial centers. Delays in transit traffic will be eliminated. We will finish our project in April 2023 and present it to the service of our nation as a result of the works we have carried out rapidly, meticulously and with great effort.”
