Developed with the cooperation of leading companies in the Turkish defense industry, Kapgan, an unmanned land vehicle, went out to the field and conducted a fire test for the first time shortly after its exhibition.
Kapgan, positioned as a medium class-2 unmanned ground vehicle, was transferred to Samsun Yurt Savunma's shooting range in Samsun after the work on the hull was completed for the displayed tests. With the work of the teams involved in the project, Unirobotics' gun turret and Samsun Yurt Defense's Canik M2 QCB 12,7 millimeter heavy machine gun were integrated into Kapgan and night fires were carried out. Daytime shooting was also carried out in the early hours of the next day. Kapgan, who went to the field after the shooting tests, revealed his driving performance.
With this test, the Canik M2 QCB 12,7 millimeter heavy machine gun, which has recently entered the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces, was used for the first time with an unmanned ground vehicle.
