Our General Manager Hasan Pezük, who examined the pre-opening works on Sunday, received information from the technical personnel. General Manager Hasan Pezük was accompanied by deputy general managers and relevant department heads during the examinations where all the details were reviewed.

SMART TUNNEL CONCEPT

The metro line was built with the smart tunnel concept. The tunnel, which was implemented for the first time in the world's subways, was equipped with fire safety technology. In this line, the signaling system developed by ASELSAN for the first time with domestic and national means will be used. Train signaling and interface works will also be implemented with domestic means. Vehicles with domestic electrical systems and batteries will be used. The first domestic metro vehicle engine will be used in the vehicles that will be put into use in addition to the existing 10 sets of trains.
