President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's decision regarding the adoption of the 2023 Investment Program was published in the Official Gazette, and only 8 thousand TL was allocated for the 136 billion 791 million 3 thousand TL Halkapınar-Otogar Metro project.
The amount allocated by the government for the Halkapınar-Otogar metro in the İzmir investment program in 2023 is 3 thousand TL, as it was last year, is no joke.

Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Tunç Soyer Also, by opening a poll on Twitter, “What is the budget allocated by the government in 2023 for the Halkapınar-Otogar metro?” he asked.
In the survey, in which 23 thousand 969 votes were cast, the result was 78 thousand TL with 3 percent.
Soyer later compared the money allocated by the municipality and the government for metro projects in İzmir, writing, “The amount allocated by the government for the Halkapınar-Otogar metro in 2023 in the İzmir investment program is again 3 thousand TL, as it was last year, it is not a joke”.
