Underlining that investments in İzmir, the pearl of the Aegean, continue without slowing down, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure noted that 20 billion TL of investment has been made in İzmir in the last 112.9 years. In the statement, which is noted that the Ministry has signed many projects such as Izmir-Istanbul Highway Project, Çandarlı Highway, and İZBAN, the total amount of the investment made by our Ministry for the İZBAN line is approximately 2 billion 850 million dollars. When we look at the total investment amount, it will be seen that a rate of over 70 percent is made by our Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.

The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure made a written statement regarding the investments in İzmir. Emphasizing that investments continue in İzmir as well as in 81 provinces of Turkey, the statement underlined that 2002 billion 48 million liras have been invested in İzmir's transportation and communication infrastructure since 569. The 3,5-kilometer-long Istanbul-Gebze-Orhangazi-Izmir Highway Project, which reduces the distance between Izmir and Istanbul to 426 hours and revitalizes the regional economy, has been implemented, and the Menemen-Aliağa-Aliağa highway with a total length of 56 kilometers, of which 40 kilometers is a highway and 96 kilometers is a connection road. It was stated that the Çandarlı Highway is among the first among the prestigious projects. In the statement, “Çevreyolu and Konak Tunnel also gave a breath of fresh air to İzmir traffic. By completing our projects, we ensured the safe and comfortable transportation of the people of Izmir within and between cities. Our investments, which befit İzmir in the Century of Turkey, continue. Among these projects are Torbalı-Ödemiş-Kiraz Road, Selçuk-Ortaklar-Aydın Road, İzmir-Turgutlu Junction-Kemalpaşa-Torbalı Road.

ADNAN MENDERES AIRPORT INTERNATIONAL BUILDING RENOVATED
