For the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, the total amount of money paid by the state to the contractor companies for the year 2022 under the name of guarantee of passage has been determined.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, for the opening fee of the bridge, said, “We have determined the price for car passes as 200 liras. Is it expensive? 200 liras,” he said.
In the continuation of his speech, Erdoğan said, “You know, if the build-operate-transfer and the contractor company pays the monthly or annual price here, who will pay the difference? We will pay it from the state's coffers," he said.
45 DAILY VEHICLE WARRANTY
The 'Daelim–Limak–SK–Yapı Merkezi Joint Venture', consisting of companies from Turkey and South Korea, which won the bridge with an operating time offer of 16 years, 2 months and 12 days, brought to life.
For the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, a daily pass guarantee of 45 thousand vehicles was given. In the guarantee given, the fee per vehicle was 15 Euro + VAT.
After the 1915 Bridge was opened, information was given about the number of vehicles that crossed only twice.
Adil Karaismailoğlu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, announced that 1915 vehicles passed through the 6 Çanakkale Bridge a week after the bridge was opened.

It was shared that only 14 vehicles passed over the bridge even on the eve of the Eid al-Adha, while the vehicle warranty was given and caused intense and long-term criticism of the opposition. 289 MILLION VEHICLES IN 1.8 DAYS
On the other hand, according to the post of Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu on his social media account at the beginning of this month, the number of vehicles passing through the bridge, which was opened on March 18, was 2022 million by the end of 1.8.
ONLY 6 VEHICLES PER DAY
Considering the daily pass guarantee of 45 thousand vehicles, 289 million 1915 thousand vehicles had to pass through the 13 Çanakkale Bridge in the aforementioned 5 days in order to avoid the Treasury's pocket money.

From the opening of the bridge until the end of the year, the state paid 14 million 24 thousand liras to the contractor company daily under the name of toll guarantee, and since the toll was fixed at 200 liras, it also paid the difference in fees for the last 1.8 million vehicles. This figure is estimated to be around 150 million TL.
