The EYT regulation will be enacted through 5 stages:

EXPLANATION FROM MINISTER BİLGİN
Labor and Social Security Minister Vedat Bilgin stated that the regulation on retirement age (EYT) is expected to come to the Turkish Grand National Assembly this week.
Vedat Bilgin, Minister of Labor and Social Security, "What is the cost of EYT?" On the question, he said that there is an estimate between 120-150 billion liras for this year. Stating that the figures spoken about the cost of EYT are not correct, Bilgin said, “We have the figures, we have the account. I say 150 billion, but I mean the maximum possible. It can vary between 120-150 billion. Because you don't know how many people will apply," he said.
In response to a question about the restructuring of premium debts, Minister Bilgin said, “Borrowings within the scope of EYT are not included in this. His borrowing is completely done according to our law of meri. You can't say, 'I can't fill 5000, 9000 premium days or I'm 1000 days short. If you lack 1000 days in the current law, you will work. There is no such debt," he said.

Our Ministry of Labor completed the technical work within itself and was in contact with our group regarding this issue. We, too, started the work to transform the EYT into a law proposal with our deputies. At this point, no one should have any doubts.
Our first agenda as soon as possible is the process of enactment of EYT. We will witness that EYT will become law in February. In March, we will all witness our brothers from EYT receive their pensions. Our planning is in this direction and there is never any difference.”

WHAT ARE THE EYT TERMS AND WHO COVERED?
With the EYT regulation, the age requirement for retirement has completely disappeared. The EYT law covers those who were insured and paid premiums before September 8, 1999. However, the EYT law will cover both SSK and Bağ-Kur employees and employees in the Pension Fund, without discrimination in the 4A-4B-4C category.
