The “Regulation on Amending the Road Transport Regulation”, prepared by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette.

With the regulation, the age requirement for the vehicle that will provide the minimum capacity in passenger transportation has been increased from 12 to 15, while the number of companies that can provide service to agency services has been increased from 10 to 20, allowing those providing international passenger agency services to also serve domestic carriers.

In this context, the driver's license age requirement for drivers who will use big buses has been reduced from 26 to 24 in order to close the driver gap and contribute to the employment of young people.
