Samsun Metropolitan Municipality completed 5 percent of the 98-storey car park construction in Havza district. Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir said, “The parking lot with a capacity of 340 vehicles will enter the testing phase after the construction works. When it is put into service, traffic congestion will decrease and our citizens in Havza will breathe a sigh of relief.”
The Metropolitan Municipality, which sets an example for Turkey with the projects it has implemented, is rapidly continuing its investments in the center and districts of Samsun in order to find a permanent solution to the traffic problem. One of those investments is being made in Havza, the center of spa tourism.
5 FLOOR 340 VEHICLE CAPACITY
5 percent of the 38-storey car park with a capacity of 600 vehicles, with a tender price of 5 million 340 thousand liras, built on an area of 98 thousand square meters, has been completed. Within the scope of the work, the manufacture of the ground floor ventilation walls, the sheet metal coverings of the top and sides of the door entrances, the manufacture of guardrails and parking stoppers, and guardrail works continue.
THE COUNTDOWN HAS STARTED, THE DISTRICT WILL BREATHE COMFORTABLY
Stating that the countdown has begun for Havza Mechanical Parking Lot, Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir stated that they have carried out many projects to ease the city traffic, and that the parking lot projects will also make a great contribution to this. President Demir said, “Hopefully, our multi-storey car park will be completed shortly and will be at the service of our citizens. This region in our Havza district is a place with heavy traffic flow. Our car park, which will have a capacity of 340 vehicles, will reduce this congestion and give a sigh of relief.”

President Demir, who also gave information about the system, said, “The 5-storey car park, which will be 3 floors underground, will work with a completely mechanical system. In other words, drivers will not look for a place to park their vehicles. The vehicle is parked on a platform fully automatically. In this way, users do not have to search for a parking space. While leaving, the driver takes delivery of his vehicle by scanning the card in his hand. Our people deserve the best of everything. As the Metropolitan Municipality, we implement the projects we have started one by one, and use all the facilities of our municipality to improve the quality of life of our fellow citizens.
