In order to meet the increasing passenger demands due to the half term holiday, additional YHT services will be placed between Ankara-Istanbul and Ankara-Konya, and a total of 7 thousand 152 additional passenger capacity will be provided.

In the written statement made by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, it was reminded that the semester break for the 2022-2023 academic year will be between January 23 and February 3, 2023.

The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure announced that additional flights were added to the high-speed trains operated by the TCDD Transportation General Directorate in order to meet the increasing passenger demands during the semester break. In this context, it has been reported that additional YHT services are put between Ankara-Istanbul and Ankara-Konya, and a total of 7 thousand 152 additional passenger capacity will be provided with additional flights.

TCDD Transportation General Directorate has put additional YHT flights between Ankara-Istanbul and Ankara-Konya on 21 and 22 January, 3 and 4 February in order to meet the increasing demands due to the semester holiday.

Additional flights will depart for Ankara-Istanbul at 10.15 from Ankara, from Istanbul at 17.10, for Ankara-Konya at 10.30 from Ankara and from Konya at 13.10. With a total of 16 additional flights, 7 additional passenger capacity will be provided.

In the statement, "At present, an average of 24 passengers travel between Ankara and Istanbul on 12 reciprocal flights, and an average of 500 passengers travel between Ankara-Konya and Ankara-Konya-Karaman 14 times a day. Capacity increase will be provided on conventional lines in line with the demand.
