With the cooperation of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality and Seda Yekeler Education Foundation (SEYEV), a first in the capital, the "Rainbow Foreign Language Education Center" project was implemented. From the center inaugurated by ABB President Mansur Yavaş; Capital residents between the ages of 15-25, especially the children of families receiving social support, will be able to benefit.

With the cooperation of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Social Services Department and Seda Yekeler Education Foundation (SEYEV), a new project has been implemented in order to enable the people of Başkent aged between 15-25, especially the children of families receiving social support, to learn a language.

“Rainbow Foreign Language Education Center”, a first in the capital, opened its doors with a ceremony attended by ABB President Mansur Yavaş.

In his speech at the opening ceremony of the center, ABB President Mansur Yavaş said, “We have gathered here today for a good service. We took a decision from our city council and we had a cooperation with SEYEV before. In Kesikköprü, we provided a fifteen-day course to the children of disadvantaged families, enabling them to start to acquire a good English.”

Slow continued his explanations as follows:

“Now, we have started such a service here in this region, which is close to all schools, where the young people come the most. Young people will come here, they will practice more here. They will both learn English and continue their development with the practices they will do. I believe it will be very useful. Such a center did not exist in Ankara. It will provide free services to especially disadvantaged groups and their families. here with each other sohbet they will talk. While developing their friendship, they will also improve their English. Thus, when they complete their education at a later age, I think that they will benefit greatly from communicating with the world over the internet. good luck. Congratulations. My teacher Seda has a saying; language is acquired, not learned. I hope you all acquire a good English language.”

SEYEV President Seda Yekeler said, “After bread and water, the most basic need of the people is education and we are very lucky that we have a Municipality and a Mayor with this vision. We are aware of this and we are signing such a project in the heart of the city and changing the bad luck of this place.”

LEVEL ENGLISH LANGUAGE EDUCATION

Trainings at the center where hundreds of applications were made from the first day; After determining the English language levels of young people and children, they will be given to different level groups as YM1, YM2, YM3.

The lessons to be given by the trainers of SEYEV, which was established to provide equal opportunity in English education, will be organized free of charge. Thanks to the speaking and reading sessions where individual studies can be done in addition to the lessons, the language levels of the children will be improved.

The library in the center, where the duration of the lessons is determined as 40 minutes, contains both English books and world classics. Students will be able to play English games by studying in the library and "English Cafe", where a completely English speaking environment is offered.

ONLINE APPLICATION SYSTEM

A course program will be created after the placement test for young people and children who apply online through the address “dil-mer.ankara.bel.tr”. Apart from the curriculum, students will be able to attend the sessions with the appointment system in order to benefit from the speech center.

In the education center where it is emphasized that knowledge of a foreign language is not an "learned" but an "acquired" element, it is aimed for young people and children to make English a part of their lives.
