Under the leadership of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, 4 textile factories were built in Muş with the support of Muş Special Provincial Administration, Muş Municipality and DAKA.

At the ceremony held in the meeting hall of the Governor's Office under the chairmanship of Muş Governor İlker Gündüzöz, the protocol texts regarding the delivery of the completed factory building to the investors were signed.

Gündüzöz told reporters that they have been working hard on textile investments for several years.

Expressing that the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Industry and Technology and DAKA provided financial support to the project, Gündüzöz said: “This financing also has local legs. In particular, our Special Provincial Administration and Muş Municipality are involved as stakeholders in this financing. Production started in the factories that were finished last year. In the center, an investment called Sultan Alparslan Tekstilkent came to life. Young people work there, production is being done. The 4 factories we have delivered will start production with a commitment of 1500 employment. Considering that our household size is close to 5, it is an investment that will directly affect 7 people in the first place. Considering that our central population is 500 thousand, it is necessary to state that it has touched many people. We would like to thank our Minister of Youth and Sports, Minister of Industry and Technology for Sultan Alparslan Tekstilkent. In fact, behind the work is our President and his will. Visionary investments in textile and other fields have always been thanks to him.”

Expressing that the region has very important advantages in terms of employment, Gündüzöz said: “We are a city with a young population. We will use this advantage to the fullest. Again in the center, the idea of ​​Sultan Alparslan Tekstilkent, our Minister of Interior, Mr. It belongs to Süleyman Soylu. This area is the property of our Special Administration. I hope the people of Muş will benefit from this work. This place will be a textile base and the rising star of the east.
