Dr. Ekinci said, “People with diabetes in their first and second degree relatives, obese individuals, individuals with insulin resistance, people who have been diagnosed with pre-diabetes before, women who have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes during pregnancy, who have a sedentary life and who are physically weak. people who are not active enough, people who eat poorly fibrous foods rich in fat, patients who use steroids (cortisone) for a long time, people with high blood pressure, high cholesterol or heart disease, people with polycystic ovary syndrome, people who have had an organ transplant, and babies weighing more than 4 kilograms It is recommended that women who have given birth to have their fasting blood sugar level screened for diabetes at least once a year.
