President Büyükkılıç, who attended the introductory meeting held in Istanbul, said that the World Snowmobile Championship, which is considered one of the most prestigious races in the world by the World Motorcycle Federation (FIM), will be held in Erciyes.
Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, together with the Governor of Kayseri Gökmen Çiçek, attended the introductory meeting of the FIM World Snowmobile Championship, which will be held for the first time in Turkey, in Erciyes under the auspices of the Presidency.
FIM World Snowmobile Championship (SNX), which will be held for the first time in Turkey on 10-11-12 March 2013 in Kayseri Erciyes under the auspices of the Presidency, was attended by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Kayseri Governorship, Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, Kayseri Erciyes A.Ş. It will be held in cooperation with the World Motorcycle Federation (FIM), Spor Toto, Infront, Sport In Turkey and the Turkish Motorcycle Federation.
In addition to the President Büyükkılıç, Kayseri Governor Gökmen Çiçek, Bahçelievler District Governor Mehmet Boztepe, Turkish Motorcycle Federation President Bekir Yunus Uçar, Erciyes A.Ş. attended the FIM World Snowmobile Championship Promotion Meeting held in Istanbul Feriye Palace Gallery Hall. Chairman of the Board of Directors Murat Cahid Cıngı and members of the press attended.
Famous sports announcer Ersin Doğru, who hosted the ceremony, which started with watching the promotional video, said, "It is not a coincidence that this championship came to Turkey, Kayseri and our Erciyes. There's a lot of hard work behind it. They showed a very serious effort, especially our Dear Governor of Kayseri and Mayor of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality. In return, this championship will come to our country. In your presence, we thank them very much. The Snowcross Champion of the World will be determined in Kayseri.”
Layout said that in 100, the 2023th anniversary of the foundation of the Republic, it will be the first major international organization and the championship will start in Erciyes.

I would like to express my gratitude on behalf of Kayseri by stating that we are working together in the context of making an impact on our city and giving opportunities to such events by making a potential impact with the presence of our Honorable Governor. Of course, the flagship of tourism is Kayseri Erciyes Ski Center. I cannot pass without mentioning our minister, Mehmet Özhaseki, who was both a ministry and the Mayor of Kayseri for many years, who contributed to this beautiful project.”
Büyükkılıç stated that they made investments to make Erciyes a center of sports and tourism for 12 months, and said:
“In the last period, with the ski center here, we keep it on the agenda with the High Altitude Center on its way to becoming the center of sports, and we ensure that our hotels are not only specific to winter sports, but also that our hotels are full in the summer, and that our Erciyes can benefit from it by preparing the ground for various activities. I don't want our Kayseri to be mentioned in the context of tourism with just a ski resort, I want to share that it is a city that has made a name for itself in different areas with the richness of hosting different civilizations.”
Büyükkılıç also drew attention to the fact that Kayseri is the center of gastronomy and said, “We took our place in the direction of UNESCO to enter the Creative Cities High School on a national basis. We can talk about works that have either entered the UNESCO list or been a candidate in dozens of our regions. Congratulations to those involved. I state that Kayseri, which is a center of attraction with its 1,5 million population, will always be remembered positively.”
Kayseri Governor Gökmen Çiçek, on the other hand, emphasized that Kayseri has a trade history dating back 6 years, as well as being an industry and tourism city, and said, “The most important actor in this tourism is Erciyes, its flagship. Turkey's longest ski slopes and the most different ski areas are in Erciyes," he said.

Governor Çiçek stated that Erciyes is a well-planned and well-planned place and said, “A lot of effort was made to make it this way from the beginning. Both Özhaseki minister and Erciyes A.Ş. AN ORGANIZATION TO PROMOTE TURKEY AND KAYSERİ TO THE WORLD
He said that the world's fastest, most active, best-known and best-known athletes will come to Kayseri, and that they will introduce and explain this organization to more than 1.2 billion social media users, motor sports lovers and more than 300 million people through live broadcasts in nearly 100 countries.

MORE THAN A CHAMPIONSHIP IN ERCIYES
Bringing the world trends in snow and winter sports to our country, Erciyes will host the World Snowmobile Championship on March 10-11-12, 2023. World Snowmobile Championship, under the auspices of the Presidency, with the support of the Turkish Motorcycle Federation, Kayseri Governorship, Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality and Erciyes A.Ş. It will be held in Erciyes for the first time in Turkey. The championship, where the world's best snowcross athletes will compete, will be held at Kayseri Erciyes Ski Center on March 10-12, 2023. The Snowmobile World Championship, which has been held by the FIM in Europe's best ski centers such as Sweden, Switzerland, Finland and Norway since 2004, will take place this year on the specially prepared track in Erciyes Ski Center Tekir Kapı region. More than 50 athletes will create a different excitement with studded tires on the same tracks with the Erciyes Cup, which includes ATV and Motosnow categories alongside the championship. The two-day Championship will be broadcast live on CBS Sport in America, Sport TV Network in Europe, Eurosport, and Fox Sport in Asia and South America. Participants will enjoy both the championship and the winter festival with fun competitions, sports activities, concerts and many different activities throughout the Championship. Famous artists will take the stage as part of the Erciyes Winter Fest, which will be held on the occasion of the championship.
