The UN General Assembly declared 30 March as the 'International Zero Waste Day'. The 'Zero Waste Movement', which was launched in 2017 under the auspices of Esteemed Emine Erdoğan, continues to make our country and our nation proud, both with its contribution to our country's environment, nature and economy, and with the international awards it has received. Dear Madam, last September, she met with the UN Secretary General and signed the 'Global Zero Waste Goodwill Declaration' within the scope of combating the climate crisis. The 'Zero Waste' resolution submitted by Turkey to the United Nations within the scope of combating climate change and sustainable development plans was accepted at the General Assembly. As a result of this decision supported by 105 countries, the International Zero Waste Day will be celebrated on 30 March every year from now on all over the world.
