The first T70 Helicopter, whose final assembly and qualification tests were completed with domestic avionics systems, transmission, landing gear, dynamic parts, was delivered to the Gendarmerie General Command. Deliveries of the T70 Utility Helicopter, produced under the subcontractors of Turkish Aerospace Industries, ASELSAN, TEI, Alp Aviation and Sikorsky, have started.
Within the scope of the program, the T70 Utility Helicopter, which was developed based on the Sikorsky company's S70i Helicopter, will be delivered to different users with a licensed production model in Turkey. Land Forces Command, Air Force Command, Special Forces Command, Gendarmerie General Command, General Directorate of Security and General Directorate of Forestry are planned to be users of the helicopter.
Within the scope of the T70 Utility Helicopter Program, Turkish Aerospace Industries delivered the first T70 Helicopter, for which it completed the domestic avionics systems, transmission, landing gear, dynamic parts and final assembly and qualification tests, to the Gendarmerie General Command.
In the program, Turkish Aerospace Industries carries out the production, final assembly processes, tests and integrated logistics support of all main parts of T70 helicopters such as cabin, cockpit, tail cone, horizontal and vertical tail, main and tail rotor blades. ASELSAN undertakes the development of basic avionics systems, TEI manufactures the T700 engine that powers the helicopter, Alp Aviation undertakes the production and assembly of landing gear, gearbox detail parts and dynamic parts.
Raising the Bar in the Helicopter Industry

With the General Purpose Helicopter Project, it is aimed to meet the general purpose helicopter needs of Turkey in the military and civil fields. It is aimed to use the helicopter in firefighting, search and rescue, personnel transportation and military missions with different payloads to be integrated on it.
