The 87th Grand Atatürk Run, one of the classic races of Turkish athletics, will be run on Sunday, December 25 in Ankara. A record number of applications came to the race.
On the anniversary of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's arrival in Ankara during the National Struggle, the 1936th Great Atatürk Race, which has been run since 87 and took its place in the history of Turkish athletics as a classic, will take place on Sunday, December 25 in Ankara.
The race will start from Keklikpınarı location in Dikmen on Sunday, December 25th at 14:05 and end in front of Ankara Train Station. DECATHLON, which is the sponsor of this year's race, will distribute gift certificates to the athletes who complete the competition in the top 10, while TAF will reward the top 6 athletes in the general ranking. In addition, cash prizes will be awarded to the top three in the Masters categories.
Dikmen Street in the 10.5th Great Atatürk Race, which is approximately 87 kilometers long, CevizliThe route of the stream, Türkocağı Street, Akdeniz Street, Genç Street, Tandoğan Square and Ankara Train Station will be followed.
This year's race, which broke a record with nearly 3000 applications, will be broadcast live on TRT Spor Yıldız.
